Fullbright presents Toilet Spiders - Cover Artwork

So here's another cover artwork for a sleazy PC game release called Toilet Spiders. Developed and released by Fullbright.
The description of the commission was: "...the player's looking straight down into the nasty, dank toilet bowl, and in the dark flush hole you can see four glowing red spider eyes staring back at you...". So I was in. (not the bowl ... in the job.)

...and by the way. It figures that I lifted up some lids upfront and tripped up on that toxic topic around my client - but also I've observed an apology by him in turn.

So as a 8.337 km distant livin male person my thoughts were, let's simply give it a try...
And it was horrible .. no, I'm jokin' ... it was all good. Scheduling, communication, payment - everything really fine and friendly.
So I want to assume that here has not only happen the development of a game.. and hope that more poisonous creatures in horrorgames by Fullright will emerge - cause there we want to have them.

Stromfresser - Comic Shortstory

At times I try to make some comic short stories for the german indie publisher Weissblechcomics. The latest one is a tale about a bug which is making electric shocks by touching. It's called Stromfresser (Electricity Eater) and is released in Horrorschocker #72. The story is created and written by Falko Kutz, who has written all of my stuff for that publisher by now.

The coloration is fully made w/ watercolor. The old technique is my new kink. Love it.

Okay.. from now on I'll try to make the descriptions for my stuff more international. Switchin to the main internet speech, that I actually master - the regent ENGLISH language...

So here we have the latest stuff for the Berlin|Germany based Therapy Sessions series.
The staging club Void Berlin still gives me the freedom of bringin' out the mean missiles and bloody blades - Thanks for having me! ... but no worries, the brutal imagery is only referenced to the style of music.

Die junge UK Punk Band mit dem Namen Only Love (Instagram) hatte dieses Anliegen. Sodann ging es an's Werk... Als Warmup erstmal potentielles Schriftzeug für die Jungs ausprobieren...

Für das Cover fand ein etwas filigraneres Lettering des Bandnamen seinen Platz um einen Kontrast zum klotzigen Titelschriftzug herzustellen...

Therapy Sessions - Flyergestaltung

Die Therapy Sessions Reihe im MS Connection Complex in Mannheim fand 2023 zweimal statt. Nun hier die entsprechenden wilden Gebrauchsgrafiken dazu.

Der Text vom LineUp und Datum wurden wie das Veranstaltungslogo per Hand mit dem Pentel Brush Pen gestaltet. Es gab mal eine Zeit, als die Kundschaft zu mir meinte: "Gib mir mal den benutzten Font!" Ich: "Mmmhharrh, es gibt keinen Font. Handgemacht!" Mittlerweile passiert das nicht mehr.

 

Die zahlreichen Informationen zum Event geben dem Auge des Empfängers einiges zu tun. Zumindest beim Poster versuche ich daher mit etwas Freiraum für optische Ruhe zu sorgen...
